  • Bookmarked kit | tin-style box

    Ex Libris
Let's make some tiny, knitted books with secret compartments, just for the pure pleasure of it!

This utterly ingenious pattern by Hunter Hammersen walks you through absolutely every step of creating these knitted books—from how to block your book-in-progress to how to attach the inner "pages" (which is actually your handy storage compartment).

This kit includes everything you need to create one Altoid tin-style book, just like the one I've pictured. The finished "book" is the size of an Altoid tin, or 2.3" wide, 3.7" tall, and .75" deep.

    In your kit

    • PDF pattern: Immediate download plus a code (that ships in your kit) to add it to your Ravelry library
    • Hand-dyed yarn in my 80/20 Smooth Sock (fingering weight) base. You get a quarter skein (25g) in the colorway of your choice.
    • The insides: one metal Altoid-style hinged tin
    • The outsides: Heavy-duty cardboard cover & spine
    • Hardware & notions: All the rare earth magnets you'll need (16 tiny ones) and a teeny tube of superglue
    • Embellishments: Hand-dyed silk embroidery thread (3g)
    • A guided knit-along video. Your kit includes a video with my peer-to-peer tips for making these little books.
    • Optional: the pattern (immediate download + Ravelry code in your kit box)

Just think how adorable your little knitted book will be as it sits on your coffee table or desk, holding your knitting notions—or maybe a secret love note!

💰 If you already own the pattern, just let me know in the NOTES section of your order and I'll refund you the $10 cost of the pattern.

Read this if you already own the pattern 👇🏻

The kit price includes $10 for the pattern. If you already bought the pattern (from a previous kit or from Hunter), I'll happily refund you $10.

BUT: You will still get emailed a download link. (There's no way to make my system NOT send the auto-email.) Please don't click the link and re-download the pattern.
