  • I dye three-season wools (wool, cashmere, mohair blends) and summer yarns (cotton, linen and silk) in five different weights. These are the actual yarns I use for my own knitting, and they reflect my preference for plump, round yarns (most are 3-ply), wool that is next-to-skin soft, and production that's gentle on the environment.

    All but one of my yarns are grown and/or spun in the United States or Canada, which helps to keep their economic and environmental footprint as close to my home as possible. I dye both non-superwash and superwash bases and believe both have a place in a knitter's stash and for different knitted items.
