I'm delighted to offer companion mini-kits for your Velveteen rabbit, to help you create a lovely handmade jacket for your Velveteen rabbit, complete with handmade ceramic buttons.
- A 25g mini-skin of Gynx Yarns merino DK yarn (25g, 55 yards) in an exclusive colorway designed to pair with the Velveteen rabbit colors.
- Two handmade ceramic buttons from Melissa Jean Buttons in a lattice-work style, in the color and size to perfectly suit your bunny's jacket.
These are SUPPLY ONLY kits for the JACKET. These are for knitters who already have the Bunny Love toy pattern by Susan B. Anderson, or who are purchasing the 2015 Velveteen kit separately, and want to add a cardigan to their bunny.
If you are not purchasing the 2015 Velveteen kit and have an older kit, you will need to purchase Susan's pattern of Extras in order to knit the jacket. (Older versions of the kit included the pattern for the bunny only. The 2015 kit edition includes the combined pattern for the bunny, jacket and all extras.)
Susan B. Anderson originally created the Bunny Love pattern for this Little Skein kit. Bunny Love stands 7 1/2” tall from bottom to head (not including his lovely, floppy ears). He is knit seamlessly in the round, and the pattern includes detailed, row by row instructions on how to knit the bunny, with in-progress photographs to help guide you in how to construct the arms and legs. This is a perfect knit for adventurous beginners and experienced toy knitters alike.
