Trelawney shawl yarn pack

I am delighted to offer yarn packs for this beautiful new shawl design inspired by Hogwarts' professor of divination, Sybill Trelawney, and created by Tyne Swedish.

Tyne has perfectly brought to life this quirky, unpredictable character in shawl form with a classic triangle shape and varied stripes and textures that seem random yet, somehow, work perfectly together.

Pictures are of my own Trelawney shawl, which I modified into an elongated triangle and had a bit of fun at the border to use up every little scrap of yarn. I created the yarn colorways for this project: Phoenix Feather (in my Smooth Sock base) and The Wand Chooses the Wizard (in House Blend no. 2) for a mix of soft and strong. This beautiful neutral shawl has quickly become one of my most worn.

Your yarn pack will include:

  • 1 skein of Phoenix Feather in Smooth Sock
  • 1 skein of The Wand Chooses the Wizard in House Blend no. 2
  • Notes from me on my personal modifications (e.g., how to use up every scrap of yarn and how to adjust to an elongated triangle if you wish)
The yarn pack does not include the pattern, so head over to Ravelry and purchase your pattern here.

Beautiful color. Stitch markers well made. Anne is a beautiful person and it shows in her yarn and the way she runs her business.

How do I love thee

Well, seems unfair to write a review for a yarn that's no longer available, but maybe the gods will be kind and it will appear again. I bought the Hudson in the DK weight. I have not started a project yet, but I have wound the yarn and done a gauge swatch and that's enough to make me sing its praises. I don't typically buy yarn this pricey, however I a) wanted to support a local maker, and b) for a small project to have such a beautiful yarn makes it a joy to knit, and ultimately a beautiful thing to wear. So...the photo is accurate but cannot convey the depth of the color. I got it to go with the Apple Crisp - also lovely & gorgeous. What they will be is still TBD, but there's enough yarn in the skein for some nice gloves or a hat, or if combined some other thing that you'll want to wear often. My SO is one of those wool averse people and even they are drumming fingers for something to wear from this year. Let the battle begin.

Such a gorgeous rich shade. Aptly named Autumn Light. Very soft and I can’t wait to knit it up!

Gorgeous color lovely yarn

What can I say about this beautiful yarn? Perfect color to go with my usual earth toned accessories and clothes (I’m a confirmed Autumn) my only problem is finding a pattern to show it off and do it justice
