I was so excited that this kit was available again and in the Misselthwaite Manor colorway. I wanted to make the longer version so I purchased an additional skein of yarn. The yarn is so yummy because of the cashmere. The cute ceramic leaf button, the stitch markers and even the little bouquet of flowers show how much thought went into marketing this kit. I absolutely love it and I'm anxious to start on it
Yarn is awesome. Kit is beyond beautiful. I am so very pleased with this kit and it has moved to the top of my knitting projects!
Beautiful bag, yarn and stitch markers. As always, the quality of the product is exceptional. I am so excited to have been able to get this kit, as I missed the initial offering.
This may be my favorite kit yet! I love the yarn color and the pattern looks exquisite.
This kit is the best! The bag is so well made, I especially love the handle I added. The stitch markers are beautiful, the pattern is well written, the yarn is amazing colors and so soft and everything was so prettily packaged. It was all well worth the cost. I started the shawl as soon as it arrived and since I am a slow knitter, I didn't get to the end until 3 months later, only to discover that I was going to run out of yarn with just one row left to go! I messaged Anne about whether any more yarn would be available in the future and she replied back in a few hours to say that she had one lone skein that the color was a bit more yellow-green than the olive green it should be that she would sell to me or she would introduce me to Western Sky Knits and let her know I wanted to order a custom skein. I bought the skein she had left since I was eager to finish the shawl and wanted to get it as soon as possible. Despite it being mere days till Christmas, it arrived on Christmas Eve and I was able to bind off my shawl on Christmas Day while digesting dinner. Also when I started the shawl, I was confused about the triple stitch increase and I posted about it in the knit-along thread on her Ravelry group and she quickly posted a video of her making the stitch! That's customer service! The only complaint I have is that I didn't order a zipper pull for the bag, the cute bit of ribbon she tied to the zipper has unraveled because I didn't have the forethought to dab the ends with fray stop. Thanks Anne, I can't wait to see what next years kits will be!
