I created the Molly tote out of necessity while working on my Rhinebeck sweater this year.
I needed a project bag that would hold quite a lot of worsted weight yarn and yet be portable enough to take to knitting group. I also needed the bag to close at the top to prevent my yarn-loving beagle from grabbing random skeins and running off with them, as she loves to do.
The Molly tote is bigger than my shawl zip, taller and a bit wider, and has a contrast band of 100% wool felt at the top (perfect for displaying enamel pins). I've placed cotton webbed handles in the seam, so the bag can slide over your shoulder and be carried whilst on the go. There's also an exterior pocket on one side.
This is a roomy, portable sweater bag beautifully made from fabric. (The last three photos are of my Rhinebeck tote so you can see its size and features. Yours will be in the fabric in the first picture.)
