Tea at Pemberley | Little Skein's House Blend (MCN fingering)

4 reviews

Welcome to Elizabeth Bennet's world of witty banter and love.

We developed three colorways for our March subscription box, each dyed on our super-soft House Blend base and inspired by Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The colorways are inspired by soft yellows and pinks of Regency England, colors so often worn by Jane and her characters. The colors also call to mind the traditions of Jane's world, from high tea in beautiful china cups, to walks in the Pemberley gardens, to the ball at Netherfield.

House Blend is my perfect fiber blend for shawls and accessories. It's an ultra-soft combination of merino, cashmere and nylon, with a gentle twist that neither too tight nor too loose. It's soft, drapey, is beautiful to touch and work with, and takes on lovely tonal colors.
