Receive 20% off Targhee Sweater during Rhinebeck weekend. I wish you could squish it in person, and this is my next-best way of showing you my perfect worsted-weight sweater yarn. Use code RHINEBECK.
I adore Targhee wool: it's next-to-skin soft, color loving, and incredibly soft and cushy. It's hard-wearing and prone to less pilling than merino. In short: my perfect sweater yarn.
I am delighted to introduce Targhee Sweater in a plump worsted weight (that knits up closer to Aran) and in a non-superwash wool.
I have a select number of single skeins available (and I can highly suggest the Hatdana pattern for this beautiful yarn), and I am also offering sweater quantities in my Rhinebeck palette.Targhee Sweater
100% non-superwash American Targhee wool
220 yards per 100g
3 ply construction
Happiest at 18 to 20 sts per inch, which is usually achieved on a US size 7 or 8 needle (4.5mm or 5mm)
If you want to knit a fade sweater (as I am doing in the last picture), order Honey, Cider Donuts, and Cinnamon Sugar (in the appropriate quantities of each color as needed for your project). I am using 2 of Honey, 2 Cider Donuts and 1 Cinnamon Sugar to knit size 2 (40").
