Brown Paper Packages | La Bien Aimée (MCN fingering)

A knitted celebration of The Sound of Music with the colors of the movie reinterpreted in a winter-fresh, modern palette from La Bien Aimée yarn.

I first met Aimée at her small and exquisite Paris yarn shop in summer 2015, just after she had launched La Bien Aimée hand-dyed yarns. To my great surprise, I found on her shelves a small collection of yarns with colors and names inspired by Julie Andrews, and I knew I had found someone who loved The Sound of Music and its songs as much as I did!

I am thrilled to be the first shop in the US to host La Bien Aimée yarn and to debut exclusive colorways, all inspired by The Sound of Music and which Aimée and her partner created just for "My Favorite Things" collection.

Love this yarn

So glad that I was able to grab a few skeins of La Bien Aimee while it was still in stock. I have purchased her yarns directly from France before and am so glad that I don't have to do that now... (but will you keep stocking more of her colorful yarn selections?). Anyhoo, I love the combination of "brown paperpackages" and "whiskers on kittens". Lovely texture, lovely colors.

Nice yarn

I had heard that this yarn was really nice. I have no project for the yarn, I just wanted a skein of any color to judge for myself. A very nice yarn. Will knit something soon.

Hundred Acre Wood kit & my favorite things

love the yarn. you almost want to pet it. the colors are beautiful especially the gradient ones for the big shawl in a hundred acre wood. I have only had a chance to work on the hat from my favorite things and the yarn handles beautifully.
