I created the Molly tote out of necessity while working on my Rhinebeck sweater this year.
I needed a project bag that would hold quite a lot of worsted weight yarn, my sweater-in-progress, and yet be portable enough to take to knitting group. I also needed the bag to close at the top to prevent my yarn-loving beagle from grabbing random skeins and running off with them, as she loves to do.
The Molly tote is a bit bigger than my shawl zip, taller and a bit wider, and has a contrast band of 100% wool felt at the top (perfect for displaying enamel pins), and has sizeable cotton webbed handles conveniently placed in the seam, so the bag can slide over your shoulder and be carried whilst on the go. There's also an exterior pocket on one side.
I'm delighted to create Molly totes in any of my Rhinebeck fabrics, with the wool felt color pictured (pumpkin spice). More fabrics and more wool felt colors will be offered later in the fall.
