A powerful story illustrated in beautiful colors
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of the stories of my heart: complex, rich and full of uncomfortable truths, from Scout's dawning awareness of the injustice and inequality in the world to Jem's heartbreaking understanding that Boo Radley wants to stay inside because he can't face a world that harbors hatred and prejudice.
I am delighted to release The Knot Hole Tree cowl that first debuted at Stitches West. The colors are soft and movingly beautiful, and the cowl style takes advantage of one of the simplest and most enjoyable ways to knit with self-striping yarn: stockinette stitch in the round. Enjoy the magic of color changes that happen automatically, encouraging you to knit just one more stripe. While a stockinette tube cowl can easily be knit without a pattern, I've devised several simple strategies to make the finishing work as easy as the knitting, so your kit includes a PDF pattern.
Choose between a simple yarn and pattern kit, or luxuriate in your memories of this courageous tale with a luxe kit.
