Hundred Acre Wood shawl kit (small)

A shawl that sparks your memories of friendship, childhood and love.

The Hundred Acre Wood is a place of friendship, adventures and simple pleasures, like a jar full of honey. Designer Helen Stewart of Curious Handmade has infused some of that sweetness into the Hundred Acre Wood shawl, created just for this kit and with gentle nods to the beloved childhood story of Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne.

While preorders for the kit closed in January, I am delighted to restock a select few options of this popular kit.

Your kit includes:

- Hundred Acre Wood shawl pattern: You will receive an immediate pattern download, and when your kit ships, you'll receive a code in the box to allow you to add it to your Ravelry library as well. The pattern is well within the skill range of an adventurous beginner, and interesting enough to entertain more advanced knitters.

- One skein of beautiful MCN yarn, hand-dyed by Wooly Wonka in exclusive colors. The yarn is a lusciously soft MCN fingering weight and the colors were created just this shawl.

Hand-dyed by Wooly Wonka
Colorway available: Sage (one of the original gradient colors), Honey or Oh Bother
435 yards per 100g skein
80% merino, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon

- A handcrafted "honeycomb" progress marker

Hundred Acre Wood

I have loved Winnie-the-Pooh, since I was a small child. I was super excited to see this kit released! I love the fabric used on the project bag--they are so well made. I just started the shawl, what a nice and easy to read pattern!

An antidote to winter

The yarns are high quality, very soft, and in complementary colors. I can't wait to make the Hundred Acre Wood Shawl and to wear it as winter gives way to spring. The Winnie-the-Pooh project bag is tremendously fun, and the honeycomb stitch marker made me laugh out loud. This is my first kit from Little Skein. I can't wait to see what they offer next!

Lots of Love

When I opened the box of this special kit, I could feel the love. The yarn is beautiful and feels so good. I especially like the honey related markers and the theme since my grandmother name is Honey. I like the zipper shawl project bag, just the right size, not too big or too small. I hope I can get in on her next collection kit before they sell out. Going to start the project next week!
