Do you need a cloth mask? Not everyone has access to a sewing machine, knows how to sew, or is able to afford a cloth mask. While I would much rather than our federal government provide inexpensive, disposable masks to everyone in order to protect public health, I also know that cloth masks are needed and helpful in this time of crisis and government failure.
I've been able to locate a limited amount of twill tape and elastic, and have arranged my studio to be able to make cloth masks for those members of our Little Skein community who need one.
Your mask will be:
- Pleated, as pictured
- Made from double-layer quilting cotton
- With ties from twill tape -or- elastic loops
- Sewn with love
Please give me 1-2 weeks to make and ship your mask.
Note: This is not a medical grade mask and should be for personal use only.
I am not charging for the masks, but I do ask you to cover the cost of shipping. Low-income makers can use the coupon code COMMUNITYYARN to receive shipping paid for from my Community Yarn Fund.
