One of the things that makes a Little Skein project bag unique is the fabric I use to create it. I design and commission original fabrics for my Read. Knit. Remember kits and have them digitally printed, just for me, in small batches. My designs are printed on a cotton-linen blend of fabric, which is similar to a home decor weight and gives my project bags a lovely, durable and weathered feeling. I also use Japanese fabrics, most often in a canvas weight, oxford cloth, or cotton-linen blend. The feeling of a project bag is as important to me as the uniqueness of the print, and I love to use heavier weights of fabrics that can become softer and more flexible as they are used, and yet stay wonderfully durable for years and years of knitting pleasure.
