My club yarn (Cashmere Blend, which we all love so, so much) comes from Canada. The US current administration has signaled that the 25% tariff on goods from Canada ordered by Executive Order for February 2 will now happen on March 2. Tariffs work to increase the cost of the item being imported as a way of discouraging consumers from using imported goods. Please note: these tariffs may or may not happen. Not much is certain other than chaos with the current hard-right government in the US, right now.

Since Cashmere Blend is truly unique and isn't produced in the US, I am committed to continuing to import it from our friendly neighbors in Canada. My mill is likewise committed to continuing to price it in a way that's workable for US customers like me since they depend on us, too.

If these tariffs happen, I may need to raise the price of your subscription. I also may not need to because my mill is committed to giving me a discount.

This brings me to this particular listing.

I know that most, if not all, of you look to this subscription as a bright spot in your lives. A treat when things are bleak and an extra dose of joy when things are good. Cost is a factor for all of us in varying ways, and I know that my free shipping makes this luxury yarn more affordable. A rise in the cost of the yarn could tip the balance between being able to afford it and not afford it.

Right now, I have the capacity to safely store a certain amount of yarn base, and can offer you the option to prepay and lock in the price of your subscription for the rest of 2025. This would be for the following shipments:

    • April/May 2025
    • June/July 2025
    • August/September 2025
    • October/November 2025
    • December 2025/January 2026

You will be prepaying for the entire year and locking in your price. My regular refund terms apply should you need to cancel your subscription mid-year.
