Sampler kits are a preorder and will ship at the end of February, and sooner if I can.
Maybe, like me, you find the ocean to be your happy place. A beach, cool sand, rhythmic ocean waves: these sounds and sights calm me like nothing else. I am so lucky to live in San Francisco, a few miles from the ocean and that magical intersection of sea, sky, sun, and fog that is Northern California.
This collection of knitwear designs is the combined talent of 9 Bay Area designers and 9 yarn dyers and local yarn shops who, together, represent our San Francisco ethos that art is powerful and justice and equality are critical.
Each of the dyers involved have created their own kits (and I also have kits for the Undulation Mitts by Ksneia Naidyon, my paired designer), but I was inspired to create something a bit larger too. I created new colorways and pulled older formulas from my formula box to evoke my own feelings of calm, soothing waves and comforting fog.
