  • Birch Path cowl pattern by Karalee Harding

This is a cowl you’ll want to knit over and over and over again—as gifts for friends and as a treat for yourself.

The cowl’s textured lace pattern resembles a path through the woods and feels like a happy walk with a friend on your needles. There are big-hearted stitches, easy-to-work lace with both written and charted instructions, and an effortlessly stylish fit because the cowl is tapered to be smaller at the top than at the bottom.

It’s also satisfyingly quick to knit with my hand-dyed, airy, bouncy Harvest Bulky yarn.

    Pattern features:

    • Easy print format (with instructions and charts on their own pages)
    • Charted and written instructions
    • Helpful tips for more beginning knitters
