Welcome—and thank you for ordering a Bookmarked kit!
Here is all the information you need to knit your books and join my guided knit-along.

A few notes:

  • Be very careful with the magnets. I've packed them inside one of the tins. Be mindful that they are super-strong. Like, fly across the table and pinch your fingers strong. Be careful!
  • Please double-check that you have everything you're supposed to. (A list is below.) Packing mistakes can sometimes happen, and if you are missing anything, just email me at anne@littleskein.com, and I'll take care of you!
  • The yarn colors for this palette were finicky and varied a lot from batch to batch. If you ordered multiples, I did my best to match them. If you are in any way disappointed with the specific shade you received, please let me know at anne@littleskein.com and I'll do my best to make it right.

Following is a list of what's in each kit:

    Guided knit-along

I am hosting two live Zoom sessions. The Zooms will not be recorded; but for anyone who can't make the live sessions or who buys a kit after the sessions have happened, I have prepared a separate video (linked below!).

SESSION 1 // Friday, February 17 at 4:00p Pacific Time

In this Zoom, we'll glue our matchbox together, knit our swatches, and I'll show you anything tricky I encountered while knitting my first tin style book. I'll also answer any questions you might have.

SESSION 2 // Saturday, February 25 at 10:00a Pacific Time

In this Zoom, I'll show you anything tricky I encountered while knitting the second sliding box-style book. I'll also answer any questions and help guide you through any tricky parts you've encountered.

    My guided video

This video (link will be available in late February) is for anyone who can't attend the live sessions or who has bought a kit after the sessions happened. This video includes a visual tutorial for gluing the sliding box together and my tips for knitting these lovely little books. Feel free to bookmark this page and come back to the video as often as you need to.

Please do not share these links. The Zoom sessions and video are part of your kit purchase and part of what I sell (i.e., it's my job, so please don't give my work away for free!).
